CONNECT. Solo show in Bastejs
be. feel. approach. find. observe.
It is important for me to be in contact with myself, to connect with myself, but not place myself in the centre of attention. It is important for me to observe, notice, and not to teach nor judge. Noticing life is a new beginning that is derived from the present moment. This is the connect. This is how I connect. Here, the narrative is formed through a human face that shows minute and fine vibrations, feelings and happenings. My intention is to merely touch global consciousness through my personal angle.
Exhibition CONNECT at Gallery Bastejs from November 15 till December 17, 2016 and after that at art fair SCOPE MIAMI BEACH from November 29 till December 5, 2016.
Ritums Ivanovs exhibition “Connect” will be held at Gallery Bastejs from November 16. After the exhibition in Riga, a part of the paintings will be exhibited in Scope Miami Beach (USA) international contemporary art fair from November 29 till December 5. Pieces exposed in the exhibition are in different sizes and reflect the artist's personal study on the essence of global consciousness, which is attained by meditation.
Ritums Ivanovs is one of the Latvian artists who has managed to gain international recognition.
